franchises with 23% growth in annual turnover,
resulting in a massive 39% total average growth of
J&M Security turnover over the past five consecutive years.
We realize that the security function
within many organizations is often seen as either
unavoidable evil or at best a poor relation between
customer and service provider. It is also realized
that it is impossible to make a building, still less
a complete site or premises, inaccessible to the
determined criminal - only an optimist with no
practical experience would assert otherwise.
Nevertheless, by far the greater numbers of entries
are made by criminals who are able to do so simply
because no thought has been given to all steps and
methods to deter them.
The only medium, through which one
can successfully address the problem of criminal
activity within a given environment, is to achieve a

personnel and equipment, can the security function
hope to penetrate the low prioritized thinking and
abdication of responsibility by today’s service
providers and managers.

installation and monitoring, training and

asset-in-transit services are on offer.

of command and operations of the SAPS, Traffic, ER24
and other service providers. No wonder J&M
Security is recognized as the leader in crime prevention by the
mentioned roll players in the safety and security
environment as well as most other security service

J&M Security is very well represented - in many instances the
presiding party - in all major crime prevention
structures e.g. CPF’s, Poslec (SAPS and private
security meetings), Sector Policing, AIT-bank

Lowveld Chamber of
Business and Tourism (LCBT). Danie Coetser has been
entrusted with safety and security matters relating
to the 2010 World Cup Soccer event as the official
representative of the business chamber of the LCBT
participating with all safety and security related
committees and other official bodies e.g. the
Mpumalanga Provincial Government - 2010 Safety and
Security Sector committee and Multi Agency Mechanism
(MAM).
